Approved for a Special Use Permit from the Crawford County Board of Supervisors

Clean Footprint, LLC, on behalf of its project subsidiary company CF IL Solar N. 600th St., Robinson LLC, has been approved for a Special Use Permit from the Crawford County Board of Supervisors to develop a community-focused Solar + Storage project near Robinson, Illinois.
The project is planned as a 3.8 MWac community solar farm, paired with a 4-hour energy storage system on Ameren Illinois’ distribution grid. This project will bring reliable, affordable clean energy to Crawford County residents, while strengthening the community’s electrical grid.
Clean Footprint appreciates the engagement of Crawford County staff, community leaders, and stakeholders throughout the permitting process and looks forward to working with our project and community partners as the development progresses toward construction and operation.

Saline County, Illinois Project Approval

Clean Footprint has secured a Conditional Use Permit from the Saline County Board for its community-focused Solar + Storage project in Eldorado, Illinois.
The project is planned for 3.4 MWAC of solar PV paired with energy storage on Ameren Illinois’ distribution grid. Approval followed completion of local due diligence, environmental review, and the required public hearing process.
Solar paired with storage continues to play an important role in delivering reliable, locally sourced energy. This project reflects Clean Footprint’s continued focus on disciplined development and thoughtful integration of solar + storage assets within communities seeking lower-cost, zero-emission clean energy.

Clean Footprint, LLC has executed an interconnection agreement with Ameren Illinois for the Gingrich–Stoy solar project (3.8 MWac), marking a significant advancement in the project’s development timeline.
Interconnection approval is a critical step in bringing solar energy projects online, ensuring the facility can safely and reliably connect to the electric grid. With this milestone achieved, the Gingrich–Stoy project moves closer to construction and operation, contributing to the expansion of clean energy infrastructure in Illinois.
