I have personally worked with Clean Footprint LLC and John Porter as Director for around 6 years currently. I have found John to be extremely well versed in all aspects of the Solar Business and the environment surrounding this fairly new industry. As an example of his willingness to help companies, towns and others understand how industry works and the issues both good and bad have to be resolved. I wanted a solar farm in our town, The Town of Hurt located in south central Va… We discussed the project, and John immediately was willing to step on a plane and head to us from Florida. This was the summertime in Va., meaning snakes are plentiful. John was willing to visit the 100-acre site on foot and discuss the possibilities with me simply looking at the layout of the land. He never seemed anxious to get somewhere else, or I have something more important than you I need to be on! He also toured the town and discussed other possibilities such as powering the local strip mall with solar. John is extremely creative in his thinking when reviewing projects, pointing out the positives as well as any negatives. His background in managing municipalities serves him well also. He understands the needs and goals people like me always bring to the table and he can contribute a wealth of knowledge to the conversation. He is not only our first choice when we started talks on another solar farm, he was the only one I would trust. John is a pleasure to work with, and he will not let you down.
